I have been using Nikon cameras and lenses for years. Currently
shooting with a D200 as my primary but occasionally I pick up
my F100and shoot a roll of film.
OPTICS...
Quality - this is the reason I shoot with Nikon. Their Nikkor
Lens optics are far superior to anything on the market, and
have been for years.
Value - All of the lens I originally bought for my F100 work
perfectly on my digital D200 as well.
AMATEUR...
although I have been shooting images for as long as I
can remember, I remain an amateur, albeit an advanced
amateur. Getting past the occasional contract work, I
shoot for myself and only myself.
